When in May ?. I'm coming through from MAN-DPS on 25th and will be here again 1 June on the way to SGN.
They are also building a new SATS Premier Lounge next to the MH lounge near here. Hopefully they'll redeem themselves with this new one. It says its opening this month.

20MAY05 will take SQ158 departs at 12:50, SKL F, willing to help access. Most probably will be at the lounge by 11am. Hope Laksa will be served at that time.
Just a reminder that F boarding pass / C boarding pass alone does not entitles you to bring a guest into SKL SIN. You need a PPS status to bring a guest. *G status should work too if you are travelling SQ F & C (would anyone please confirm this?).
However, the lounge agent may sometimes be lenient and allow guests through.

Unless SQ is deviating from the standard Star rules, First Class passengers on a Star int'l flight are permitted 1 guest. Those in Raffles, however, are not permitted any guests.
The SQ website gives you a link to the Star website page when you click on the "Conditions Apply" button. The Star page in turn does say that F=1 guest, C= no guest.

Thanks for the information, stargold. I have read the Star Alliance page the link - you are right.
But to be frank, I am not 100% sure if this applies to SKL SIN. Even if it is written as a benefit, the lounge agents might not be aware of this.
I hope someone flying F with no status & bringing a guest can share his/her experience soon.
Thanks for the "Notice of DOs" addition to this thread, Kiwi Flyer.
I am sure this will be handy for those who do not visit Community Buzz section of FT often.

Hello All. I will be on my first ever International Business Class Flights.
May 20th 11:00 PM - 1:00 AM SFO SKL
May 21st 11:40 AM - 1:00 PM SIN SKL
I think there is a stop in Hong Kong on the May 21st flight so maybe there too.
I don't think I am allowed to bring in a guest (I am on a United C Award and have no *G Status) But i will certainly be happy to try.

Prior to my PPS, I flew C and was travelling with 2 others in Y. The gate agent refused them entry, but I managed to cajole her into letting them in...guess it helps with the stack of SQ tickets from my CRWSTAR
Thanks for adding the notice of the DO's. Since I don't check CommunityBuzz anywhere near as often as I check specific forums, it helps.
Looks like I'll be just a day behind jef7 at Changi. I arrive at SIN on SQ29 from LAX-TPE at 11:30 am on May 26th and depart for BKK at 1:00 pm the same day. I arrive in Raffles but my onward BP is for Economy, thanks to a (tolerable) glitch in DL's award ticketing, so I've got no SKL access rights at all.
Mr. Megatop and I will be back through Changi in transit BKK-SIN-DPS on Saturday May 28th from around 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Since we're both in Economy, we'd just like to meet up with fellow SQ afficianados while on our way to Bali, where the fortuitously timed SQ DO will be underway.
