SIN-HND 22:35 departure - BTC Kyo-Kaiseki or Kaiseki from menu?
Hi everyone,
An SQ F virgin here - I am soon flying on SIN-HND (the redeye 22:35 departure) and from previous posted menus, it looks like they serve a Kaiseki meal as one of the options. Does anyone know how that would compare to the BTC Kyo-Kaiseki, and whether I should choose to BTC instead?

Agree with the recommendation to BTC if you want to be sure to get kyo kaiseki. It is a popular option, meal orders are prioritised by status if too many pick the same option, and this is a flight with many high status passengers (e.g. 4 or more PPS Solitaire).

Only "Kyo-Kaiseki" order as Book-The-Cook is the full blown multi-course meal you are looking for.

timely post since i too am curious about the kaiseki meal. will be flying J LAX-NRT-LAX in september. kaiseki is not available in the BTC drop-down list. will it be available on-board?. We will hopefully be eating excellent japanese food for the three weeks we are there so maybe won't even be so interesting for the flight back.

In business class there will be hana koireki on the menu (similar with lower quality presentation) for both LAX-NRT and NRT-LAX.
