SQ1 during chinese new year?

SQ1 during chinese new year?
I was wondering what the fares/load would be? I guessing since it goes SFO>HKG with lots of Chinese on both ends, it would be a huge crush or relatively quiet. I am not Chinese or celebrate lunar new year, so I have no clue. Is it anything like American holidays of Thanksgiving,Christmas and New Years? Lastly, how about premium awards? Are they good close in or more like 345 days out?

SQ 1 seems to be very full . Even in F . Clinched the last seat 
Tried to get on later flights even from HKG , impossible
..
Think many book months or more ahead ; now more returning to PRC on whatever flights are available for CNY ..
Fare redemption is the same as noted if you are able to get it
