Who will be there? How about bring it back nonstop SIN-LAX/EWR or anywhere else.
Let the speculation begin.

That's good news...
SQ will launch their A350s on the BCN-GRU route when they come online too.
Now I hope that they'd reconsider bringing back YVR!

This variant is likely going to be used for North American routes first on reinstating EWR, ad replacing one stops to LAX and SFO. Star Alliance hubs ORD, IAH, IAD, YYZ, YVR may are likely in line after that.

And sorry, but the author of that article doesn't know what he's talking about. SQ doesn't codeshare with UA and would have no reason to link up at IAD, ORD, or IAH. SIN-IAH would be nearly 500 miles farther than SIN-EWR, which remains the longest nonstop commercial route ever. And SEA isn't a *A hub. It's a DL hub.

I think SFO is a long shot compared to LAX, but hopefully there's enough tech demand to India to fill the premium seats. Decent amount of folks fly SFO-BLR and almost everyone goes LH/UA through FRA or CX through HKG.
I'm doing SFO-HKG-SIN-BLR on SQ to try out the new J, but flying back on CX for the shorter itinerary. If there was a direct SFO-SIN, I would gladly fly that in a heartbeat.

I flew the 345, and the seats were not as good as the A380, they were a few inches narrower. But it was cool to do the longest flight in the world.
