I usually BTC and choose the nasi lemak, and don't normally regret it.

But, on my last trip to RGN, the gentleman next to me was having the most sumptuous carrot cake from the in flight menu and i felt my mouth watering, even with nasi lemak in front of me.

Guess which route I will NOT be BTC-ing next time....

What does carrot cake, a desert, have to do with the main course?Surely, you could have ordered that as well.

It's good! I prefer the white version myself.

I'm not disputing the quality or taste. It just seemed that your mouth was watering because yo had BTC'd your entree and couldn't have the carrot cake for dessert. Am i missing something here?

Yes, you are. The carrot cake redvelvetmartinis is talking about is not a dessert.

You'd have figured that out had you followed the previous link I posted.

The carrot cake is called radish cake in HK (蘿蔔糕).

Then I never would have mistaken it for dessert.

Oops, my bad! Forgot to make it clear that I'm referring to the Asian version, which is a main.

(On that note, I'm not a fan of the dessert, so it will not be a big loss to me!)
