Yeah it says PEY Book The Cook starts in April 2015.

It even has priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling.

First flight with PEY product is 9th August 2015 to SYD.

Shortest route with this product is HKG.

38" seat pitch is pretty underwhelming for a supposedly class leading product.

Think i will stick to stumping up the extra for the exit row preferred seats in Y rather than paying what will no doubt me many hundreds if not thousands of $$$ for this...

the fare difference is fairly small.
for the launch route SIN-SYD, it is $1554.60 versus $1964.60 both flexi fares.

No doubt very carefully chosen. SQ's main reason all long for not introducing PE was concern about undermining business class yields. With this configuration that should not be a problem.

I also noticed it's the same configuration with ScootBiz seat on their LCC Scoot, 38" seat pitch and 8" recline. Although the width is smaller at 19.5" compared to ScootBiz's 22".

Fares now available for booking according to this piece, which puts a bit more flesh on the bones.

Meals are just economy ones. Shame. CX let you have a crack at the business ones.

Having a look at fares to London over christmas...

Cheapest available economy "Super Deals" is $1941 and Premium economy is coming in at $3,061 so approximately a 50% price premium....

Planning Europe this August and the good thing now is you can mix and match the class you want. For example:

Assuming this ~50% premium holds, this is worth buying for daytime mid hauls where Im on the fence between Y and C.

I would love to see a PPS benefit of space available upgrades from Y to S and S to C, but I'm not holding my breath!

No redemption options yet

I actually like the way their PE looks. Color is good (maybe a bit too similar to LH?) and yay for the USB plug over the shoulder. So much easier and convenient.
