Redemption on SQ Business Class B777-200 (Retrofitted)

Hoping for some advice from experienced forummers here.

Just redeemed for 2 business class tickets on SQ633 from HND to SIN in Dec 2015 - and realised they are the B777-200 (retrofitted) plane, with a 2-2-2 config.

How are the business seats in this aircraft? are they old and tired, and how are the Krisworld offerings? I flew SIN-FCO Economy recently on a B777-200 and it was really not something i want to do again - small screen, old seats and few Krisworld offerings.

If it makes any difference to the answers, I am flying on the A380 business (SQ12) Sin to NRT on the way in.

Thanks!

The 2-2-2 isn't tired but it's miles away from the A380/77W/77WN

But, it's still almost a year away. Things may change.....your 2-2-2 may be swapped to a different type.

Hi there, isn't 777-200 refitted in 1-2-1 config? I have an AMS-SIN leg coming up in March and my seatmap showed 1-2-1

Don't worry.

There are many 777-200s. Yours is the ER-version. It is 1-2-1 indeed.

The HND flights use the non-ER versions

ok, thanks! Guess I don't really have a choice if I want that flight timing (although it appears that that particular flight used to be a different type of plane). lets hope then that the aircraft will be swopped for a B777-300ER or A380. lol.

A girl can hope!!

I too have this issue... No availability for the dates in October I'd like from NRT-SIN, so have to fly from HND with the 777-200

If any swop it would most likely be the A330. Seat is the same, the IFE far better. No need to hope for 77W or even A380.

Anyway, you flight is leaving in the afternoon. If you dont want to sleep and just watching movies, honestly i would prefer any regional plane over the 77W/A380. IMHO SQ's Regional C-seat is much better to find a comfortable setting to lounge and chill nicley. The Longhaul C-seat installed on 77W/A380is only really good if you want sleep.
