Most of the 77WN routes are already in place: 318/319 SIN - LHR v v; 637/638 SIN - NRT v v; 2/1 SIN - SFO v v 3 x weekly; 228/227 SIN - MEL v v to start 29 March. 231/222 SIN - SYD v v gets the reconfigured PEY version in August.

There are only 6 77WN aircraft in the "old" configuration, including 9V-SNA, now showing ready for delivery at Boeing.

Except for 231/222, none of the other routes currently performed by 77WNs get the reconfigured 77W aircraft between now and at least March, 2016 (which is as far out as the schedules can go).

The one equivalent frame freed up by the August change to Sydney likely goes to SQ 2/1 -- it's already been announced (see prior post quoting the article). So, the 6 77WNs are all accounted for through at least this time next year.

Hmmm... My booking for 228/227 in September/August shows mini cabin with 8 seats. Is that 77WN or 77W?

One more new 77WN - 9V-SNA entered service last night on SQ638 SIN-NRT. Brings the total to six, and the new cabins can now be seen regularly on:

LHR (SQ318/319)
SYD (SQ231/222)
NRT (SQ638/637)
HKG/SFO (SQ2/1)

I'm booked into SQ227 for July and still see the flight as an A380 though. Wonder when will they system gets updated.

Looks like SQ flew a retrofit 77WN on SQ2 today: http://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/sq2/

Lately, they've only been flying 77WNs on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturdays. Would be good to monitor if they up the frequency.

Not a retrofit: it's one of the six new 77WNs (9V-SWZ).

No retrofits until August.

Nothing. You cannot tell which interior or which frame is performing the flight from the seat map.

The only way to know whether a given flight is being performed by 77WNs is to consult FlightRadar24 or Libhomeradar
.

But those 6 77WNs have the new cabins right? I hope they continue to increase the new cabined planes instead of every other day on the SQ1/2

I'm flying SQ306 in July 15, the online seat map via sq.com and expert flyer for my flight both show the new configuration (ie. 1 row of 4 seats for F, reconfigured J cabin including 3-row mini cabin of 12 up front).

So is this an error, a reconfigured 77W or a new 77WN with the new config?

Pardon my ignorance...but this newly reconfigured 77W seats for all classes will be the same as those found in 77WN in SQ318/319?

Thanks leogeo. Any idea which rego this will be? (Based on the pattern I assume it's the one aircraft doing this flying)

77WN now flying to...

Looks like SQ1/2 has been flown by 77WN on a daily basis this last week.
