I received an email hinting at the possibility that the lounge has not been completed and that when checking in, TPPS passengers would be advised of alternative lounge arrangements.

I'd be interested to know what the actual state of play is too as I will be flying out in a couple of weeks' time.

I am there next week and have been researching this. It seems the AC and UA lounges are the only options for now. The AC lounge is reputed to be nicer but it may depend on the time of day you are passing through...

The SQ Lounge is not ready. Was given an invitation to the Plaza Premium lounge which is at the A gates. Also went briefly to the United lounge which is at the B gates.

Welcome to FT , aeronuts ! How ' s the UA lounge ?
Yes , not ready , disappointing

T2 itself seems to have a much better flow . ( Took us about 20 mins from disembarkation to car park , EU arrivals , including baggage claim . )
So will recce the AC / UA lounges

Received this for today ' s flight ..

" London Heathrow Terminal 2: Our new home from 17 September 2014

We are pleased to inform you that from 17 September 2014, Singapore Airlines will be moving our operations at London Heathrow Airport to the new Terminal 2: The Queen’s Terminal.

As a valued member of the Solitaire PPS Club, you will continue to enjoy First Class check-in services at our dedicated check-in counters located at Zone A. As we are currently adding the finishing touches to our brand new SilverKris Lounge in Heathrow Terminal 2, we have made alternative lounge arrangements for our Solitaire PPS Club members. Our check-in agents will advise you on the lounge to proceed to before your flight.

We are currently making plans for an arrival lounge service at the new Terminal for our Solitaire PPS Club members arriving on SQ306 or SQ322. Meanwhile, the Virgin Atlantic Revival Lounge in Terminal 3 will still be available for your usage should you wish to freshen up before you leave the airport. Our check-in agents will advise you on the lounge to proceed to before your flight.

For more information on Heathrow Terminal 2, please click here.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you soon at London Heathrow Terminal 2: The Queen’s Terminal. "

It is quite a hike from A gates to B gates ! Few shops , shopping best be done at A as advised at check in .

Lounge won ' t be ready till Nov according to gate gentleman .
It will be next to the AC lounge . AC has showers but seem very popular . Likely long wait .
Didn ' t visit UA lounge . Boots is located between AC & UA .

There seems to be an issue with lounges opening late at T2... it's not as though there wasn't plenty of notice of the date of transfer!

LHR Terminal 2 Lounge

Following on from SQ's move to Terminal 2, has anybody visited the new lounge?
Would be good to hear some details and ideally see some pictures if you have.

Many thanks

What's the current arrangement then? Which lounges are used and are First and Business separated?

Any ideas when it's open? I'm flying to SIN in December.

Currently, it is the plaza premium. Flying suites home and Was hoping silver Kris would be open by time I Had my flight, no luck. This lounge is just full of people/business travellers. Not really first class experience.
