What kind?

The quality is the same as both TG and UC is operated by PPL.

The only difference is the choices of the food.

Both UC and TG lounges are *G lounge.

SQ has loaned an area at PPL. So even SKL in HKG is a *G lounge, only SQ*G/F/C can have access by lounge invitation. PPL by itself is a paid lounge accepting some premium credit cards and PP.

Krisflyer Lounge, F class section

Do you know if the new HKG Krisflyer Lounge will have a F class section? What kind of services will be offered?

I've a flight with LX in F at the end of november and I hope to use the SQ facilities...

Any news about the opening? SQ site isn't updated since Sep. 1...

I was told there should be one.

But I would not expect a lot. SQ's F traffic @HKG is not high anyway.

Almost a 2 months delay compared to the original schedule... Wonder what went wrong!

Also in Heathrow T2 they're running late...

Re-launching Hong Kong SilverKris Lounge from 31 October 2014

Well, it looks like they'll be keeping to the opening in October promise (just)!

http://www.singaporeair.com/jsp/cms/...ionupdate2.jsp

The SilverKris Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport reopens on 31 October 2014. Newly redeveloped, the Lounge will take on a 'Home Away From Home' theme, featuring distinct personal spaces that provide a sense of ‘being home’, as well as more personalised services from lounge staff and a delectable selection of food and beverages to complement SIA's in-flight offerings.

There will be no change to the location of the SilverKris Lounge, near Gate 15 of the departure hall. Operating hours will be from 0615hrs until 2330hrs.

Last updated on 23 October 2014, 0900hrs (GMT+8)

Sound familiar....

Cathay Pacific Airways today opened The Bridge, the airline’s sixth passenger lounge at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), following nine months of construction...... Cathay Pacific commissioned world-renowned architectural firm Foster + Partners to design The Bridge. Developed with a more residential design intent, The Bridge makes passengers feel relaxed and “at home”, and is the ideal space in which to unwind before a flight.
