SQ A380 Suite NRT-SIN-BKK

1. SQ NRT-SIN do they give out Amenity kits and Pajamas on A380 Suites?'

2. I will have connection SIN-BKK am I allowed in the First class Silver Kris lounge even though I'm flying SIN-BKK in J but I arrived in Suites? because there is no F SIN -BKK.

Thanks

1. SQ usually only gives amenity kits and PJs on day flights over 7 hours and night flights over 4 hours.

2. Yes, I just had a segment in F continuing to BKK in J and I was granted access to the SKL First Class side, though it isn't very remarkable.

In fact you should be allowed into The Private Room. If the BKK BP doesn't already say so, just show the incoming Suites stub to the attendant at the same time.

SKL F is not particularly memorable compared to SKL J since the latter is rather excellent already. TPR has significantly better catering and ambiance than SKL F, especially due to lots of natural light and more space all around (although still not quite amongst the leading lounges such as LH FCT).

You can get the pajamas and amenities kit for NRT-SIN on SQ11.

I'm not sure that the (frankly underwhelming) PJ and amenity kit would ever persuade me to take SQ11 over SQ637 given the shockingly inconvenient arrival time of SQ11...

don't ever take SQ11 if you don't want to walk out of plane like a zombie. I took this flight at least 3x. And yes, SQ11 gave you the amenity kit. SQ12 does not. SQ637 does not (according to my family).

Next month, I'll take SQ637 (no more SQ11 for me). It was quite annoying being in SQ11 as unconsiderate passengers shop a lot in LA, and the space above my seat was taken.

Incorrect. The OP will not be allowed into The Private Room unless his departing flight is in F/R. His BKK boarding pass will read SKL First Lounge, not The Private Room.

It looks like you missed out on your last trip. R->J gets TPR.

I just flew MNL - SIN - BKK and I wasn't allowed in The Private Room. Heck, I had to fight the SKL staff because they wanted me to use the J side of the lounge but I remained firm and showed them my BKK boarding pass which said SKL First as well as my F boarding from the previous flight.

I was also not allowed into the TPR when I few CGK-SIN in F followed by SIN-HKG in J earlier this month. Others have posted to the contrary (I asked this question a few months ago.) YMMV?

My J boarding pass for SIN-HKG clearly said "You are invited to the First Class SKL" which I pointed out to the dragons who escorted me to the F side.

Nonetheless I ended up sleeping on the couches in the J side, which actually had blankets, pillows and a darkened area unlike the F side.

It is a once in a life time experience thing for me to fly SQ Suites, so I don't mind. My route to and from Asia will be as follows, I will most likely transfer Amex MR to my SQ KF account for NRT-SIN-BKK:

LH JFK -FRA A380 J or F
FRA LH F FCT
LH FRA-HND 744 F
SQ NRT-SIN R A380
SQ SIN-BKK J
EK SIN-DXB F A380
EK DXB-JFK\LAX F A380

SQ638/637 is also A380 (at least until March - not sure of the date)
That's why I am taking that flight next month (otherwise I would have opted for Haneda's A330 services over SQ11/12).

Quick question for those that have flown this.

SQ 637- A380 day flight no kits or pajamas?
SQ 638 -777 night flight should have kits and pajamas?
Also my wife will be on SQ638 while I am flying on Emirates can I go into the SQ lounge with her?

I flew SQ637 in F last Dec and it was the 77WN(refurbished F class)
PJ and kits were given out. According to the stewardess, although the flight time is 6 hr 30 mins, NRT-SIN is a priority route so kits and PJs are issued even it was a day flight (just) under 7 hrs. Things might change now though, anyone has more updated news?

I wonder what's classified as priority and non-priority. I'm flying Suites on SIN-NRT SQ12 (7hrs, daytime flight arriving 5.30pm) and every single FT thread and trip review I've read says no PJ's and no Amenity Kit
