4hrs prior to darture I just thought I would check Suite Saver availability - it showed 'Available' - so I just opened existing J Saver and clicked 'Change Details' and proceeded from there - selected Suites/First and the rest is history - did cost me extra 17K pts but that's life.

If you have Confirmed/Ticketed booking - go into Manage Booking - up top RH corner 3 tabs - Select Seat / Select Meal / Change Your Booking - select this and make changes as you desire.

I am going to need to travel MEL-SIN-PVG sometime second half Jan - checking Suites Saver / J Saver availability shows Suites avail most days whereas J almost non existent - go figure.
20K extra pts but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Very strange - good for you though! I can only assume it must be due to lack of general knowledge that Suites saver awards are now available.

Don't you already have to pay an SQ surcharge to sit in the 388 unless there was an equipment change?

Any update on whether SQ is as a regular practice opening up more than one R award seat per flight? Thanks.

Looks like the cat's out of bag now. Prepare for a run on First and First Suites award seats...

I'm glad to have booked 3 LAX-NRT A380 Suites tickets before this one hit the fan.

Thanks, SFO777. But assuming that this is with the missus, how were you able to get two suites on these flights? I thought only one Saver award suite was available per flight.

Well, Mrs. SFO did once ask me about my fantasies. She doesn't anymore.
