777-200ER New Business Seat & Routes

SQTalk is saying that the current SpaceBed SV series 772ER's will be fitted with the new J seats a la 77W/A380. EF is already showing the new seat maps and award space has already been blanked out via ANA tool

Awesome! Do you know which routes will get the refitted birds first?

Flying FCO-SIN on SQ365 on Feb.1, 2013. Any chance that I'll get the new seats?

On EF that's still showing the SpaceBeds

I know that AMS will be getting it... any current Spacebed route should, so that includes FCO, CHC, IST etc.

JNB is still showing the Spacebeds... but I'm guessing by then that it will be the new J and they just haven't reflected the upgrades yet.

I'm currently eyeing some CPH flights next year. Any chance they'd get the new seats by June?

thanks

^Just checked my flight AMS-SIN early March and it's 1-2-1 config on the 200ER. Looks like there is a mix of 200 and 300's for a while, Jan to March certainly.

^^edit

a little birdie tells me SIN-AMSvv will get the new 772J 3x a week from Jan 12th and daily from Mar 12th

Followed by JNB, CPT, IST, CPH, FCO, CHC and AKL in that order...

I just booked reward space in Biz on the 777 CPH-SIN for October 2013. Hope the new seats will be there by then!

Any word on the pace of the upgrades or when new routes will be announced as flying with the new configuration?

I think there's another thread for this, but basically it's only AMS yet, and only one bird (SVE) is done.

I have no source to back it up, but my gut instinct tells me it's gonna take longer than that.

FWIW SQ website says FY13/14...

SVH appears to be in mods now, so i guess this will be a clue as to how long each plane is taking
