44A or standard economy seat on 777-300ER?

I have an upcoming flight on a SQ 777-300ER (MUC-SIN). I am 6'3 (1.9m) and try to book exit seat where possible. On my flight, all the preferred exit seats are taken, leaving only 44A. Seatguru says this seat is obstructed by the exit slide. However I am guessing this would still be preferable to a standard economy seat where my kness are normally pushed up to the seat in front. Anyone with practical rexperience who can advise? e.g can you still stretch your legs out at an angle, even with someone in the middle seat?

I am not worried that the seat has no window.
