No Prepaid Elite Travel Card for 2009
I was told by AA that they would not offer the "instant" elite, Prepaid travel card in 2009.

Why the question marks and stupid looks? It has long been the custom, if not the policy, not to use the name of the airline (hotel, etc.) personnel from which you are quoting unless it was made public (Arpey news conference, Gunn statement, etc). Even if it wasn't, I choose not to put that person's name in public, not knowing their wishes about that.
Believe what I wrote, don't believe what I wrote, makes no difference to me.

If you have a question, why don't you simply ask it, rather than going nuts on icons.
I believe bbkenney was essentially saying that he spoke to a specific individual at AA. However, he is not going to post that specific individuals name here on FT, which if memory serves me correctly, would in fact be a violation of FT terms and conditions (unless individual is an AA "public figure")
Does that answer your "confusion, confusion, confusion?"
Regards
