Hong Kong for Christmas dinner

All,

I thought I might post here for some uptodate advice on the HK dining scene. Myself and my girlfriend (both mid-30s) are in HK over Christmas. I have been to HK many times but never during the festive period.

We would like to go somewhere good for Christmas Day dinner, one constraint being that one of us (me) is vegetarian. Rather impressively, the Peninsula has set veggie menus for many of their restaurants available online. We are considering Gaddi's (very very expensive and might be too old/stuffy) and Felix (flipside is could be too young a crowd given the dancing etc). Any views appreciated.

But are there any other restaurants we should focus on that are likely to do some good veggie food? We want a smart restaurant that serves good food and gets into the festive celebrations!

Finally finally, any recommendations for Christmas Eve - dinner or can you bar hop?

Thanks in advance!

Gaddis: "sorry sir, you must keep your jacket on while dining"

Felix is a good choice, but the food is ...er.. welll... not that good.

Shame you're a veggie otherwise I'd rec some good seafood places.

Hotels do gala Christmas eve and New Years eve dinners. They book up very quickly. Get booking now.
