BBC news 24 (not the website) saying people evacuated - seems to have attempted to land undercarriage up (eyewitness - either carriage was down but collapsed or no undercarriage) and didn't make it, but the plane is lying on end of runway, all left hand chutes deployed.

It is actually on the airfield though

Apparently brown was on the outbound rather than the plane which was involved in the incident which was inbound

Aircraft written off on 27L threshold. Main gear collapse. Touchdown something like 240 metres short of runway. All door slides out. REports of pax ok, wing rupture. nose gear ok

Busy night for me then

Spottie.

pictures on the bbc - wing is well damaged. landed about what looks 200-300 metres short - looks like under carriage did not come down. Engines is also in bits. Reports that everyone is okay.
