10,000 EQM's (after 2P) = 4 e-500's???
Two quick questions.
I couldn't find a direct answer on .bomb or w/ the search function. Thanks in advance FT'ers!!!
1) I am a 2P, I have 35,000 + EQM's as of now (will make 1P this year). According to what I have read, this entitles me to 4 e-500 certs. Am I right or wrong? Also do (if I registered) get Elite Choice rewards after passing the 35K EQM threshold?
2) Also when do cards for 2P, 1P, 1K (possible but unlikely for this year) mail out???

1. It's not EQM's, but 10K BIS miles on United metal. So credit card bonuses, COS bonuses, and flying on other airlines doesn't count.
2. Usually 4-6 weeks.
Congrats on your new status!

Roll a 20-sided die... (Some people probably still don't have their 2007 cards.)

The EQM's have to be on UA metal (not *A) to give you the 4 e500 certs. You should earn 4 for each 10K on UA metal you fly
You have to register for Elite Choices, but the registraion is closed now. Your out of luck if you didn't register earlier in the year

Re E-500s:
It is every 10,000 BIS (butt in seat) miles, so if you have *A EQMs they will not count toward this. They usually post within 3-4 days of the qualifying flights posting, IME.
Re Elite Choice:
If you registered, the notification email can take up to a couple of weeks, but IME this year it's taken about 4 days. I just passed 75,000, tested the website (didn't let me in) then the next morning it showed up. It will come from "UnitedElite".
Re Card Mailling:
I'm relatively new to having status so every card I get has been mailed because I qualified for a new tier... so no experience on when cards mail for those who requalify.

3-4 days? The recent flight that took me over 20k BIS miles for the year hasn't yet posted E-500s 3-4 weeks later. The EQM are there, just not the E-500s. Is that late enough that I should call MP and ask what's up? Or have they been running slow lately?

Are you sure all your BIS miles are on UA metal? Just like other posters are saying, the EQM you earn from *A, COS, CC or any other promotion would not count towards earning E500s

Just to clarify, only BIS miles accrued after passing getting 2P status count. For example, if you were at 24,000 EQMs and flew 2500 miles, you would become 2P with 26,500 EQMs and from there, you would need to fly another 10K BIS on UA/UX/TED to get your 4 e500s.

The ticket number doesn't matter... it matters if it is a UA or UX operated flight. A United ticket number for a Mesa/US or Skywest/DL flight would not count, despite being on a UA ticket.

Please clarify
I have an upcoming trip to Bucharest. The flight is labled United. On the two transatlantic segments. they are clearly United. The intraeuropean segments are labled United but are operated by LH. Are you saying I will only get credit for the transatlantic flights because the intraeurope flights are LH?

We were talking about requirements for earning e-500s. Assuming your intraeurope LH flights are booked in a mileage earning fare class, you can earn UA miles on them. See: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=445613

4-500 milers
I am flying S on LH. So I assume I will be getting credit not only for RDMs and EQM but also toward the 10,000 BIS miles needed for the 4- 500 milers.
