New BA Spa Partner

Hadn't seen this discussed here yet - just speaking to an MB Spa dragon in T1, and it appears that the new spa provider from September will be Elemis. I've had spa treatments using their products before, and I think that it's a good choice.

Any idea if they will be the new in-flight amenity kit provider as well?

Thanks for the heads up Teece, I for one hadn't heard this news.

I'm a fan of Elemis, so I'm pleased witht he result, although I had taken quite a liking to MB!

Oh. I stayed at the Intercontinental on Park Lane last night - they had Elemis stuff in the rooms. Nice.

Hoorah, the end of the dreaded MB is in sight!
Can't remember the last time they weren't "understaffed" at LHR; they seem to have given up.
And surely as a brand, MB has seen better days. Somehow I can't fight off an analogy with Burberry...

Elemis. ^

The QR F terminal in DOH also has a spa run by Elemis. However, every treatment is on a (rather steep!) paid-for basis by the pax.

Indeed - and big 100ml bottles at that as well in the Suites! Should last me for a few weeks....

Replemished at turn-down as well. ^

Looks good to me!

Seems a waste they will have to rebrand T4 Spa for under six months and then re-create it all again in T5.

Yes, but you can have a treatment and a steam shower.

Plus you can get a treatment in the Arrivals Lounges at LHR too.

Yes, but it closes at about 2pm. It's near the Zone R check-in.

Cheers,
Rick

Customers get a choice of a selection of free treatments lasting 20 minutes. The Spa in T5 looks amazing and will have longer paid for treatments aswell. Making direct financial gain fromit should certainly ensure more staff on hand to give you a rub down! MB staff are being given the choice of staying and moving over to Elemis, so dont be too free and easy with the feedback!! For my money MB is getting a bit tired as a brand since it was bought by the Japenese, Elemis are more innovation focused.....

I am very pleased to hear this. Great to see BA promote UK brands once again.
