Anybody else having booking issues with United.com tonight (Tues Aug 30)?
For the life of me I can't get it to price out much of anything. And when it does it gets everything all tangled up.
I put in:
WAS to LAS to IAD
And it comes back with
WAS to LAS
WAS to LAS
No LAS to WAS
It's like someone picked it up and shook it and it's all confused, but now I can't even get the most basic results to display.

I was getting a "down for scheduled maintenance", but it's working now.

What the heck is wrong with UA IT? Seriously, who does scheduled maintenance at this time of the evening - 9PM PST?!? For some reason this is irratating the heck out of me, I'm trying to spend money on thier site...and no go.

The checking your mileage summary area is still down for scheduled maintenance.

When I tried to log in several times, it goes to a page that says, "No you didn't make a mistake. Click here to go to our new site www.united.com." Then it goes to a page that looks just like the old one and I can't log in.

I didn't try pricing a trip, but I cannot access my mileage plus. At least, the my iterinaries is working.

Site completely down. Do not be alarmed....this is the web police....united.com is awful. I guess in an effort to cut costs united periodically turns their servers off. It is kinda like cutting off your nose to save your face. No website...no people buying tickets (cuz god knows we aint gonna try to call)...no revenues...but darn it feels nice to have to pay for the a/c in the server room!

Don't you realize that united.com is purposefully designed to frustrate you all to the point where purchasing walk-up fares at the airport on day-of-departure...starts to look attractive to you?

I've been trying since 11 pm last night and its still not working.
