Nice work! The Sydney Hilton for A$270 from ReadyRooms is much more reasonable than the crazy opening night rates they were quoting.

E*Trade 3000 points

E*Trade 3000 points

I guess everyone can read that banner flashing above but it looks like an easy way to make points.

3000 points for opening an account, no money needed to be deposited. Just send off the form.

The other points need to be earned through trading/brokerage.

Any other FF deals around at the moment?

Some tips n tricks with this thread

Thanks QF NB for suggesting (and starting) this thread - yours truly was too busy (earning miles and SCs of course!) to start it.

[moderator hat]

Please post as QF NB has done:
  • Deal summary in bold
  • Short description - 1 or 2 paragraphs
  • URL/link or contact details

To keep it clean and easy to scroll, it would be great if these are the only posts in this thread. Any other suggestions appreciated!

Cheers,

Andrew

BNE/AKL/LAX Aircraft changes during NOV 2005

To all those interested Qantas are operating 747-300s during the month of November Brisbane-Auckland-Los Angeles. 743s will operate on SUN, WED and FRI while the 744 does the rest.

This is most likely due to the 2 Class 744s undergoing a Skybed upgrade.

Qantas Heritage Collection

The Qantas Heritage Collection is a permanent exhibition of the rich and colourful history of Qantas. Located on the mezzanine level of Sydney Domestic Terminal (T3) near Gate 13, it is open to the public, free of charge, from Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm. (Closed on Public Holidays).

Situated overlooking the spectacular background of landing and departing aircraft, Qantas Heritage Collection includes artefacts and memorabilia drawn from thousands of items of historical significance donated by passengers and airline staff.

More Information
Great ^ Although shame it's closed on weekends. Sounds very interesting and gives us something else to do then just spending time in the QP
