Thanks for the heads up! This is a particularly good offer for me because my favorite watering hole, just down the block, participates....

(BTW, why are these offers always hidden on UA's site? You'd think they would advertise it a bit more...)

ooh very nice...

there's a place in bezerkeley that you can buy slices of pizza at... and they have 2-1 coupons... so I think it works out to 8 dines, 3000 miles, $2.75 for 2 slices, 0.7c /mile, plus the pizza.

Yayyy I was contemplating switching to upromise bonus because I only get 3 miles/$ now, but bonus miles are a great excuse to visit my neighbourhood pizza place and not cook. ^

Was there a similar offer about 2 months ago? Did anyone sign up for it? I can no longer find any information on it nor did I receive any bonus points from it.

I dont recall a similar offer recently but its possible I could have missed it

I just found out about the HOT Deal double point restaurants yesterday. I'll pickup the 8 (7 since I went last night) segments plus double points from a Chinese restaurant down the street from my house

Talking

These sorts of promotions, even though it's a relatively piddly amount of bonus miles, are good for me since they get me out of my food ruts. I found a pretty good Mexican place about 5 minutes from my house last night and enjoyed wayyyy too much food. It's doubly satisfying knowing the $ spent is increasing my miles.

I thin it was like a dine 4 times within a time period for 2000 bonus points.

they had a deal for triple miles up to 3000
fortunately, a place here called Khana Peena is already 20miles/$, and they have for $75 a prepaid 10x buffet card... => 4500 miles.

but this deal is even better used as I described above...

Gracias

Thanks for finding this one. I am surprised that with all the iDine emails I get, I never received one about this promo.

As I eat out 1-2 times a month, 8 iDines in two months might be hard. Though I will try an experiment and order a cup of coffee at a place near my house. I'll see if I can put it on my credit card and then wait to see it post on iDine.

Again many thanks for posting this.
