I tried to do a search on here and the SQ website, but can't seem to find the answer. What type of entertainment system is there on the 2 class 777-200? Is it the same in Raffles and Economy? Thanks.

2 Class Regionals are a mix. 9V-SRA to 9V-SRJ (IIRC) are Non Avod. 9V-SRK onwards is.
Whichever one it is, it's always the same in J and Y.

Wisemen 2000 is the older one without AVOD
Wisemen 3000 is the newer one with AVOD - the A345 has an enhanced version with extra channels (movies, progs, games, audio and news updates) cf on the 747 or 777.

So your chance is about 50/50 (as SQ has 8 such planes with AVOD and 9 without) to get a Krisworld with Wisemen (AVOD) or just Krisworld (non AVOD). The ones with AVOD have bigger 10.4" monitors in J.
Kiwi Flyer: 'Wisemen' is the AVOD system.

Since we're on the topic of IFE, I thought I'd ask some questions
From what I gather,
2 class Regional 772 = 50% AVOD
772ER = 100%AVOD
1. Then does SQ12/11 SIN-TPE-LAX have AVOD as well? Is it considered regional?
2. Most 744 are AVOD equipped, except for 9V-SMT, serving SIN-BKK-SIN route right?
3. How about the 3 class 773? That is also regional? AVOD or no AVOD?
TIA

The 2 class ones used with the regional config are mixed. the first 9 airframes came without AVOD. Subsequent ones do, but you're right about the ones in longhaul config - all airframes are AVOD equipped. Originally Posted by kaysquare

SQ12/11 operates with a 744 SIN-NRT-LAX - so yes, all AVOD too. The SIN-TPE-LAX route you refer to is SQ29/30 - and that is operated by 2class longhaul config 777's so those are also all AVOD equipped.

All but one, the one you mention. It has been used elsewhere other than BKK - but it's a rare occurenceOriginally Posted by kaysquare
