Seat 29 E SAN - IAH Complaint letter, nice PDF file and drawings

http://www.snopes.com/travel/airline/seat29e.asp

http://67.19.222.106/travel/graphics/seat29e.pdf

Take a look at both links, I found them hilarious. The description and the drawings in the PDF, the "stink shield"...

Hope they will improve the situation and remove 29E or get something to mitigate the smell.

If this was a real letter: We Care would respond with - We here at co strive to be the best and as such we are truly sorry so to help ease your pain the next time you are stuck in this seat - here are free drink coupons so you can be drunk beyond belief and wont notice the odor or sound they next time. Thank you and we look forward to having you on our airline again.

29E isn't even an aisle seat.

Agreed, all the seat maps for the 738 (all configurations) show 29DEF as the last row opposite the lav. HOWEVER, for argument's sake, what if the poster of that complaint was assigned 29D and moved over to 29E just to get 16.9" further from the smell? Or what if 29D was blocked as a FA "refuge" seat in case of turbulence, so they had to sit in 29E?

In any case, if the odor/noise/etc. was that bad, indeed, something's wrong with the lav or the seating plan is (how surprising for CO) inappropriate.

On the 900 it is an "aisle" seat. The aisle" seat is missing as there is a flight atendant jumpseat in the area.

29E is neither an aisle seat nor near the lav on the 739. You're thinking of 32E.
