It's coming up with all sorts of connections, but yes.. N fares give half a point per mile. SO the RT will qualify for the gold challenge

Couldn't find anything less than 6 nites stay, using flexible. Holding LGW-RDU-ORD-CLE-LGA-RDU-LGW for $197.65 all incl. Great for the 10574 EQM's and 22148 total miles, with EXP and booking bonuses.

Now, I just need a cheap fare to Europe around that time, plus either some good MR's out of CLE or reasonable CLE-SFO RT.

I found this fare looking for a cheap honeymoon deal, as am getting married during that week - I was thinking more on the lines of HNL in 1st, not CLE in Y!

The Ba forum are saying it's only 0.5 qpoints/mile - does that tally with the 10,574 eqm rbaa is saying?

Odd. I booked us LHR-ORD-CLE RT, out on the 27th, back on the 28th. Dinner in CLE, a visit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and 31H&J both ways. All at a smidgin under 100 each. My first true MR, without any other reason for travel - and I've got the new Mrs into it as well! OK, so I could have stretched it by going via DFW, but I hate LGW. Plus I'm easing her into it gently

This also works with multi city trips: For example I found:

LHR-ORD-CLE-DFW-SEA/SEA-DFW-CLE-LGA:JFK-LHR
and
LHR-ORD-CLE-DFW-SEA/SEA-ORD-CLE-ORD-LHR

Out 28th back 4th for $408, less than half the $915 for the cheapest LHR-JFK-SEA RT.

If only the dates worked better I'd have used this to save on our NASFIC trip.

THANK YOU! Just booked LGW-DFW-ORD-CLE and vice versa (for 12800 Asia-Miles) for August 26 to August 28, total including fee is $194.50. Booked this on Expedia.

Anyone on the longhauls (AA 81 to DFW and AA78 back to LGW)?

Greetings - Dirk
