Got an email invite today for a party in downtown Toronto to celebrate the winners. Tx @ $75/pp. Have a vague recollection that this was by invitation last year with no fee to pay. Perhaps my memory is inaccurate.

Are others getting this “buy a tx” invite?

I got this as well. Apparently this is different from the by inivtation only event.

If you're referring to the gala, it's not invitation only, but that event was $100 per person if I remember correctly.

Yes, and in 2017 it is not invitation only.

I am currently 14 years consecutive SE and have yet to receive one of these invites.

In another thread-> "All Northern Ontario communities (YQT/YTS/YYB/and YAM) have some promo attached to them EXCEPT for YSB"
