A great fare, the Fare Rules. Note I bolded a few things, like ticket by date and the fact that this is NOT changeable or refundable against a fee, in other words, once you book it is use it or lose it... It is also a free add on to MAN-BOS, as opposed to a MAN-OKC fare. That suggests there may be other free add ons and off course that the underlying fare (MAN-BOS) can be had for the same price.

Just a warning. According to itamatrix, most of the available flights on this route are on clapped out old Boeing 767s (sure, some have been updated, but plenty still have angle flat seats and no personal entertainment system, only a tablet). however, some are on the Airbus A330, which ensures lie flat seats.

I'm confused... what do you mean by "this route"? The fare allows use of any AA flight not through LHR, so you can do MANORD (767, refurbished for dates i have looked), MANJFK (same) or MANPHL (A330 as you point out w reverse herringbone). I dont think it's true that you run a high risk of getting a non flat seat with this fare.

There are also reports of it being valid via Helsinki - although that means a long ride on an E170 or some such...

A lot (maybe all?) of the MAN-HEL flights are now A320.
