Earnings on DL - * Make SURE you FF number prints on your BP
AeroMexico flights earn based off Distance for Delta. If ticketed in C would be:
6408 base miles and 3204 category bonus miles

For those without status this means:
9610 MQM (confirmed)
4 MQS (confirmed)
9612 RDM (confirmed, base, you get more with status)
$1922 MQD (confirmed)

Source: https://www.delta.com/content/www/en...eromexico.html

Tips from those who have run this:

Get all your BPs at MCO before you depart (if not staying)
Use MEX immigration first point return to USA, second point to SDQ
Ask for two of the smaller forms on jet to SDQ (need 2nd at exit)
No need to pay $10 fee if you have BP to show not staying
MEX return w/1.5 connection is tight. You may miss connect
New AM 737 seats are Zodiac w/ IFE power. Old are total crud
Regional MEX-SDQ has Gogo but only for videos. Very limited choices. No power.
Food was either hot or cold sandwich on mainline. Cold on regional.

How many points did you get crediting to:

Have not yet got points to confirm above earnings on Delta. Will update.

Canceling:

Contact the OTA you booked with to cancel. AeroMexico unwilling to refund via phone, website, and in person.

Didn't see this posted yet, great deal! 3-7 day stay, stopover in MEX.

Seems bookable on AM site for certain return dates, on PL for a bit more. Easily searchable on ITA. Wide open availability

It keeps repricing for me. I got in at ~$146, but am trying to find an OTA that works at $107. Any ideas?

Search using Momondo and then you can get it down to $111, using some of the shadier ITAs if you are so inclined

Full flex and 100% refundable indeed.

This might fit in a future trip so bagged it for next year. Booked directly on AM's website

Full Flex it appears (C). Prices at $110.xx on AeroMex site itself. Just relalized that it does not count for Prefer Status miles with Copa . 9600 miles per trip would have been a nice boost for an end of year run for me (would have done 2-3 trips). Oh well

Points are still worth more than the cost of the ticket imo

FYI you can fly out on the 18th (arriving on the 19th) and fly on the same plane back right away on the 19th! No need to actually stay at all

I was considering doing this as well. I was wondering whether one would have to go through passport control when doing this though, but couldn't find anything online regarding this.

You would be at the front of the plane and already checked-in for return leg. Presuming you are not checking in baggage, it should be fine*

*I have never flown to this airport

Those are my thoughts as well, but with only one daily AM departure, not sure I'd want to risk it..

I feel like same day return will be a bit difficult.

Only 1 hour 34 minutes on the same plane, and are you sure you may keep yourself in the international area without entering the country? Or will we be able to get the boarding pass in MCO/MEX instead of SDQ?

Nice! Just booked 4 for 5/11-5/14. Looks like there's a different schedule on Sundays that allows a 9hr return and avoids the overnight in Mexico city.

Anybody know if we get lounge access in MEX?
