The Fleet Status site is:

At the site, you can find information about the interior features, livery, etc., for every plane in United's fleet.
To determine which plane your flight will be on go to mobile.united.com and then click on flight status. Put in the flight number for your flight and just have it use today's date (occasionally it'll say flight not operated on this date in which case just choose one of the other 3 dates it lists). In the address bar you'll see something like this:

Just change the flight date to match the day of your scheduled flight and then change the origin / destination as necessary. Once you do that look in the details tab under aircraft # and if they have assigned a plane it'll say something like #3506 and the type of plane. Once you know that go to the United Fleet website listed above and cross-reference the four digit number against the "aircraft" column under the appropriate aircraft type.
Keep in mind that things change as they get closer and sometimes either they won't have assigned an aircraft yet or it'll be assigned #0 if it's a few days away and they are anticipating aircraft movement.
You may also check the specific fleet variant of each flight at the United Cargo site under "Schedules & tracking". This data tends to be reliable starting 7 days in advance, but is always subject to change.

So I guess I got my information wrong. 737-800s are going to 16F/150Y for a total of 166 seats and 737-900s are going to 20F/159Y for a total of 179 seats....yuck. For the 737-900s that's 10 more seats then the TATL 757-200s which get 2 more FAs then the 737-900s, however if we take away the 5 seats on the TATL 757s 1 or 2 for pilot crew rest and 3 for FA crew rest that brings down the total to 164 or 165 seats. Hopefully the company will add back the 5th FA on the 737-900s and add a 5th FA on the 737-800s because more then likely they will need. I know they are getting slimline seats and news lavs and all but dang that's really packing them in.
I highly doubt UA will add additional FAs despite adding seats. I believe the sUA 757s have four FAs today.
Isn't the extra FA on the sCO ships because they used to help in the galley before SMI/J took away meals? I think I heard it here referred to as the "load" position - as in load the ovens.

And hard to say because before the 2-cabin 763s were reconfigured they were staffed to 8 FAs now after the configuration they are staffed to 9 and sometimes up 10 FAs.
The load position wasn't just there to load food into the ovens and sit on the jumpseat and knit or whatever. They actually help in the services as well and the load position still exists.
As far as 757 staffing the -200s get 6 FAs for international trips, 5 for transcons and 4 for all other flights. the -300s get 5 for all flights.
For the PS 757s I believe they are still staffed to 5 even though it's no longer a 3-cabin service.

OK, it is in the original thread, and I'm guessing that when mods created new threats for '04, they took the last three posts from old thead - those that were actually posted in 2014 - and used them to create a new shorter thread, if for no other reason, because much of the old information isn't useful anymore.

In the past thread, I mentioned that A320 N470UA has slimline seats and wifi. The fleet site doesn't look like it's been updated. It shows it's been in LCQ since 12/11 (and still has XTED E+ and no wifi), but you mentioned in the previous thread that you posted it leaving LCQ and returning to service. The fleet site doesn't say that. It still shows it's in LCQ. It's just something that I caught and thought I'd mention to you so you can fix it.
