Chase Freedom: $150 (15K UR) + $25 (2.5K UR) for AU after $500 spend in 3 mo.

As of Oct 2019, offer is as follows:

  • $200 (20K UR points) for $500 spend in first 3 months.
  • No annual fees.
  • This is the best available offer since the past few years.
  • Public Application Link

What can I do with Chase Freedom Ultimate Rewards (UR) points?

  • Transfer them to a Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve, or Chase Ink Business UR points at 1:1. If you own one of those cards, this is probably the best option for you.
  • Redeem for cash back (statement credit or to a checking account), 1 cent per UR point. So, the 20K UR points for signing up will get you $200 cash back. This is generally the default option if you do not own a Sapphire or Ink card.
  • Redeem them for various gift cards, or shop with points at Amazon.com (usually same value as cash back, eg. $25 for 2500 UR).
  • Book flights/hotels/car rental/activities through Ultimate Rewards, and pay in full or in part using points (1 cent per UR).

Can I apply for this card and earn the bonus after doing so previously?

In case people here were unaware, the Chase Freedom is now $200 sign-up bonus after spending $500 in 3 months.

You can find sign-up links all over the web.

My question is I applied right at 2-3 weeks ago, do you think Chase will retroactively give me the increased sign-up bonus since the time frame is so short if I call and ask ?

Applied on Oct 30 and received my card Nov 7.

Chase Freedom Card: $200 Bonus Cash Back after spending $500 in first 3 months

The latest Chase Freedom sign-up bonus just came out today: $200 bonus cash back after spending $500 within 3 months of account opening.

It's also worth noting that one of the 5% cash back categories this quarter is Amazon.com.

Also has a new 40k for 3k spend CSP w/ 5k bonus for adding an authorized user.

On a side note, the CSP picture on Chase's website has a chip in it now. Not sure if it was that way before?

Yup, within 90 days Chase will almost always match a better public offer that comes along. Good luck.

Any idea how long this one might last? I'm currently giving myself some breathing room before an AOR in late January that includes the Freedom.

Sweet, 5x on gas ^

I applied for the Freedom on August 22, so I'm on the phone now. The rep said that she will put the request in to marketing.

Is this 90-day period in their terms?

Edit: rep did not even forward it to marketing, but was told by a supervisor that this is for new customers only. I sent a secure message asking to receive the bonus any way.
