Southwest 50,000 bonus mile cards

If I have a Southwest credit card can I cancel it and reapply for another bonus card? If so, do I need to wait a certain amount of time before applying for the new card? I am assuming that I would have to cancel the prior card. I am not elgible for both a business card and personal card.

Thank you for any advise you can give me

Generally, SW (and most/all? Chase) cards are not churnable. You'll likely only get the bonus once, but I'm sure some people have gotten it more than once. YMMV.

Just remember that there are four Southwest card options:

Plus Personal
Plus Business
Premier Personal
Premier Business

If you have had the Plus version, go for the Premier version and you will get the bonus offer as it is a different card. Vice versa if you have had the Premier version.

You say that you are not eligible for the business version, but many people apply with their SSN and say it is for a side business, like selling things on eBay, etc. People have even been approved with $0 in income for their business. Just keep that in mind.
