JetAirways Award availability

I am looking for a flight from BKK-BOM one-way on any date from 25th Dec to 31st Dec at low level economy. I am not able to use Jet Airways online tool to check the availability. I want to avoid calling in. Any other tool which can give the Jet Airways availability? Can someone help check-in the availability?

if i get correctly what you are saying....
award tickets are available for 20000 miles and 3700 THB on 25th Dec...also special fare for 5000 THB...better would be buying a ticket for 5000 THB and saving ur miles

Jet intl redemptions in Y are pretty low value for money..
Try to look for Jet Partner redemptions in Y if you really wanna spend your miles..
There is a separate thread in this forum on Jet partner redemptions and that will give you some idea.. Many a times, redemptions on Jet partners are cheaper and better than on Jet !! ..
CX also flies BKK - BOM route IIRC and they charge much less as fees and taxes compared to Jet..

i have never found any good redemption value for any international jet flight in economy....their taxes & fees are just too high to make this a good value for miles or cash....

a couple of weeks ago my cousin wanted to redeem 54k miles for a round trip in economy to london....this would have cost him about inr 38k in taxes & fees....i told him to buy a revenue ticket for inr 55k & use his miles to upgrade....this way he would earn some miles back & at the end of the day he would spend an extra inr 15k & about 10k miles more than he was initially doing & would get to travel in comfort....

similarly, my wife is traveling del-sin-del next month....economy ticket is for about inr 30k, economy redemption is 40k miles + inr 21k in taxes & fees....again, i am buying an economy ticket & spending about 60k miles to upgrade her....

^ Yup! Jet miles are useful ONLY for:

1. Domestic redemptions
2. Partner redemptions
3. Upgrades

only if the Y ticket is priced through the roof and there is an open award seat. like I won't spend 11K miles BOM-DEL if seat is available for 5K INR or so. But on BOM-UDR, where prices are generally higher, i would, if the price of a rev ticket is out of whack.

once on DEL - CCU, Y was full and not award availability , the cheapest other fare was 11k inr.. so used 18600 miles to book del - ccu in premiere with inr 700 as taxes.. online fare for this was 28k..

fair enough....i would also only use miles if the revenue ticket was on the higher side....

Looking at using my UA miles to complete a journey to BOM from BAH or KWI. What is the booking code for an award ticket in premiere or economy?
