Disney to offer cruises from NYC, Seattle, Texas

NEW YORK — The Disney Cruise Line will set sail from New York, Seattle, and Galveston, Texas, beginning next year.

The company said Wednesday it will offer 20 cruises from New York City aboard the Disney Magic starting on May 25, 2012.

They will include eight-night cruises to the Bahamas, and five-night cruises up the New England coast to Canada. Two-night cruises also will be offered.

Disney Magic cruises from Galveston to the western Caribbean will start on Sept. 22, 2012, with stops in Grand Cayman and Mexico.

The Disney Wonder will sail 14 seven-night cruises from Seattle starting on May 28, 2012. The itinerary includes Tracy Arm, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan, Alaska, as well as Victoria, British Columbia.
