International online check-in / OLCI to roll-out
I got a hint that International (non-USA) OLCI is poised to be rolled out with the weekly AA.com software changes this Saturday, 10 April.
Of course, like prior roll-outs, it could be delayed or rolled back; I have not heard of any end user beta testing to work bugs out before final release.
BTW, about time!!!

Yee-HAH! ^ About time, indeed!
Of course, Saturday is, as we say in Castilian Spanish, "mańana"... (for those who do not speak Spanish, it kind of means tomorrow, or the day after, or whenever, much like "insha'Allah" or "inshallah" in Arabic, which means "God be willing" - really, "it might just possibly happen".)
(Title thread slightly modified for future searchability; "inshallah" everyone will use Search before staring new threads.)

Do we think it will be ex-USA only, at first?
The reason I ask is that it might be problematic at first to convince all of the contracted and airport-authority personnel that pax encounter at foreign airports to recognize a web-generated BP as legitimate, especially in the developing world.
Also, would we be able to pre-enter passport details, or would documents still have to be checked by an agent at either the ticket counter or gate?
Still, an excellent step forward!

It's here. I got to the end of the process but the "print boarding pass" as well as the "email boarding pass" buttons did not work in FireFox.
But the good news is International OLCI is here. Yay!

About time! I'll be trying it tomorrow afternoon to see if it works. CDG is so nutty, however, that I'd be surprised...

Does anyone know if this applies to codeshares or just AA metal flights?

Flying from LHR to DFW in May. A new panel appeared in my reservation stating that I had already provided required information for OLCI except passport info.
I have now entered that and it now tells me "All information required for online check-in has been provided. Online check-in will be available 24 hours prior to your departure."
