I am conducting research for an upcoming article in InsideFlyer magazine about elite-level memberships and would like your answers to the following questions. Either respond here or at [email protected].

(1) EliteAccess to security and baggage lines (where available)
(2) Systemwide upgrades
(3) Please do something regarding the extremely limited transcon upgrades and/or the small seat pitch/uncomfortable seats in coach (making upgrades/FC that much more desirable)

2. Lifetime elite status / system-wide upgrades (tied for top lacking benefit in my book)
3. Why is your OnePass attitude such a "what have you done for me lately" instead of looking at a person's true long-term loyalty?

1. 'Unlimited' Domestic upgrades
2. Some way of acheiving 'Infinite Elite" status, even if CO were to make it a game and 'anoint' its top 50 flyers by EQM yearly.

(2) Embossed Elite Level Baggage Tags each year along with Membership Credentials
(3) Why don't you stop giving away Elite Level benefits, earned by some over a year of spending on flights, for the price of a credit card?

1) Free upgrades. (Not like AA where you need to use "coupons".)
2) Blocking of the adjacent seat in coach, when possible. (AA does)
3) Why don't you offer Lifetime Status anymore> (AA does)

To those who have requested Priority Standby, recall that Continental has promised to give us this soon 
- Domestic upgrades / Priority phone line / security line / baggage handling
- Some sort of lifetime status benefit for long-time elites / Blocking middle seats next to elites
- When will you improve the elite seating section to offer more room or other real improvements rather than just a seat closer to the door (and on the 757-200 power ports that the rest of coach will soon have)?

3) Why not devote resources to designing a more comfortable coach seat that will fit within your size and weight goals?
2) Blocking middle seats in coach next to elites; a more comfortable coach seat design; some sort of lifetime elite status or benefit when reaching major milestones, like 1 million EQMs, 2 million EQMs, etc. (or even for 1 million BIS miles).

1. Elite Phone Line/Access Line/Luggage tagging
2. SWUs or Lifetime/higher Elite Status
3. Have you ever flown on an ERJ for a 3 hr flight (ex. CLE-DFW) and can admit you like it? Or would you try to schedule 73x's through IAH?

Complimentary upgrades (By far) because the coach seats are jammed together and make me CRAZY when I'm stuck back there.

Could you please ask the staff at EWR to be a bit friendlier and more accommodating?
