Alaska Airlines Elite-Level Members: Please Answer
I am conducting research for an upcoming article in InsideFlyer magazine about elite-level memberships and would like your answers to the following questions. Either respond here or at [email protected].

1) What one benefit that you receive as an elite-level member in Mileage Plan do you value the most?
2) What one elite benefit would you like to be offered that you currently aren't being offered?

2) earned miles (towards eqm) on redeemed mileage flights
3) please fly into CEC soon

1) No change fee for Gold
2a) Priority Handling during Irregular operations (ie. Pre-book MVPs if flight is cxld)
2b) Higher Elite Level for true AS flyers (75 All AS/QX segments and nothing to show for it)
3) No questions, but just a reminder -- anything to make the airport/flight experience less of a hassle is a good thing!

1) No change fee on discounted tickets (below Y)
2) Board Room access for elites flying F (paid or upgraded)
3) Will AS ever join Oneworld ? It would be good for frequent AS flyers travelling to Asia

1. No change fees
2. Priority ticketing with cancelled/delayed flights (& honesty from Boardroom & gate staff when there are problems...not the constant runaround with no real info).
3. Please tell us you ARE NOT considering any alliance. They only restrict the exceptional options available now.

1) Unlimited Upgrades
2) inability to get the upgrade on a long-haul flight (they are always full not matter how early I buy a tix)
3)a - what's the breakdown of mileage plan members by elite level
3)b - AS Platinum - when and what does it mean for us MVPG's
