It has just been confirmed and reconfirmed to me that Singapore Airlines will operate six Airbus A380-800s by 31 July 2008
  • 9V-SKA and 9V-SKB have already joined the fleet
  • 9V-SKC* will join in February 2008
  • 9V-SKD* will join in April 2008
  • 9V-SKE* will join in June 2008
  • 9V-SKF* will join in July 2008

Singapore Airlines will operate, subject to regulatory and government approval, the Airbus A380-800 to Beijing in time for the Olympic Games.

Once 9V-SKC has joined, SQ317/SQ322 will be operated daily by the Airbus A380-800.

With these deliveries, more passengers, and earlier than expected I must say with some surprise, will experience Travel In A New Light combined with the Romance of Travel.
