Continental or American Airline domestic flights show the same edits. Seen this movie several time on various airlines now.
No one on this forum seem to bother when
this matter was raised during the second half of March. Now everyone gets excited because it is in the news. The BBC news desk is obviously short of shorties and is trawling this one up from long ago.
I think VS is being edited out by the one movie distributor who supplies the movies to various airlines. The version on CO/AA/BA look about the same to me with the VS tail fin being solid red, the scence with parked VS aircraft being cut but you do get a glimpse (just a short one) of the beardy one because it was too crucial a scence to cut completely

I did wonder about that scene. Thought I missed it when I went to the toilets. Bring one the days of AVOD when I can pause the movie when I am not at my seat.
