Boeing 737-400 / Variable 2 Class / Economy / 11A, 11C, 11D, 11F, 12A, 12C, 12D, 12F

In case you haven't deduced - exit rows.

Advantages:
  • Pretty much best seats for leg room; in this department gives even the J seats a run for their money. A welcome change for those cramped up in the other seats, especially if you're tall.

Disadvantages:
  • No bags on the floor - must be in overhead bins. Which means board relatively early or risk having to put your luggage in a freak bin several rows away from yours.
  • You won't be the first to disembark.
  • Must meet certain requirements to sit at exit rows (but for most people this is not a problem, unless you're suicidal, a sadist or a sociopath).
  • Can't OLCI (well at least I can't) an exit row seat - usually have to change into them at the airport / QP.
