I interpret those terms as 31st October (i.e. today) being the last day of the old rules - so your flilghts today should still post to EB with the old terms (basic points, elite bonus etc.).

Few updates on the matter: I was on 23rd Oct in RIX and had a chat there regarding the changes for EBG-s. I got to know that lounge access stays for some time, but EBG-s will be from 1st Nov removed from luggage benefits - that means no free luggage any more for tickets bought at airbaltic.com

Regarding the lounge issue in RIX - the airlines that BT does not like (LH,OK,TK to name a few) are offered to pay 80€ per person for the lounge access. As most of the airlines do not like that, then there is no lounge access for their premium pax. When flying TK you even do not get that 7 LVL coupon as the Riga Airport does not agree on that in the terms with TK.. (had a long talk in THY office in RIX about the treatment)

Did RIX-TAY in C today (nov 1) and had my EB number in the reservation and OLCI. Asked the GA and she said she didn´t know hot to change to BalticMiles and stated "...and Eurobonus is better anyways".
SK/EBP showing nicely on the BP...
If the flight doesn´t credit to EB I will argue with BalticMiles for retro reg. Six of those flight equals one Y award ARN-Baltics one way if I am not wrong.

Quite steep price for lounge access. One more reason to book in J in certain airlines when it is possible... I think now especially Malev, Turkish and AirBaltic. No pain, much gain. Or have PP.

Why don't other airlines just organize another lounge at RIX? 80 EUR is rediculuos, there is no cavair or Don Perignon on RIX lounge anyway...
Even TLL used to have 2 different lounges before crisis hit the passenger numbers.

I think the airport authority and BT have very close ties, and BT obviously opposes any such move. Besides adding any new lounges would need some reconstruction work to be done - although recently it looks like a number of airside vendors have gone out of business leaving some vacant lots there.

What do you mean mentioning Malev? Their FFP is a full-blown OW program so if you have status on MA it's as good as BA or AY. THY is the same in *A so BT is the odd man out with their non-allied FFP.

If OTOH you mean that you can catch very cheap C tix on MA (and thus 2x miles to your FFP of choice) you're completely right. Early Dec will have HEL-BUD-ODS in C for 400+ € all in. OS wouldn't sell you a ticket in Y for that money. LO would, and I'm coming back ODS-WAW-HEL for about the same money. (got to work for status on two FFPs )

As for RIX lounge access, the nice girls have so far let me in 2 or 3 times when flying AY - after showing them my LH SEN card (!) (AY Gold was "sorry, no") Go figure

Just wanted to share the info:
VNO/Vilnius lounge is no longer accepting SK or *A Gold when flying BT Economy. (I haven't checked yet but was told RIX lounge still ok for SK Gold on BT economy).
I spoke to VNO lounge lady and she was keen to show me their updated manual. Now if you flying BT to get lounge access you should be either C/D/J fare or BalticMiles VIP. Even you ticketed by SAS for SK codeshare on BT (to CPH) you still cannot access lounge.
VNO lounge is however accepting Priority Pass and straight cash payment (aprox 19 EUR).

On other notice, lounge lady told me there is a bit puzzling situation on *A access. I have looked though manual, and can confirm that if you flying LH/OS/LO from VNO, you are ok with SK Gold, but no too many other cards apart from M&M. They not recognizing *A Gold as such, only specific airlines, but at least SK is included.

p.s. VNO lounge is almost deserted now, as you can expect the majority of their visitors were EBG. Also was told they haven't yet seen any BalticMiles VIP holder.

No EBG perks in Moscow (SVO) whatsoever.

From what I've learned, new mileage earning possibilities with this programme are on the way...

This is getting ridiculous. My two flights three weeks ago were not credited, despite adding the number at check-in, so I sent the member service an email with all the relevant information. Next day I get a chirpy (if an email can be characterized as "chirpy" ) mail back that please forward the confirmation emails and they will credit the flights - I wonder why since I already included the PNRs and e-ticket numbers in my original email which should allow them to look the flights up from their computer systems. Anyway a bit later they reply that yes, your miles will be credited soon for both flights.

Well, it's now been one and half weeks and guess what? Yep, no miles on the account.

Any one else having better success than me?

I have my next BT flight next week, let's see what happens with that.
