Points for award flights…

Have an upcoming SAS award flight in Feb… I know award flights don't earn points, but I've had them post anyway by error in the (quite distant) past; not in EB though.

Putting in what FF# do you think could increase the chances – LH M&M, BMI DC, UA MP?

I know the chances are low anyway, but no harm in trying.

No chance to get any points on other programs.
The tickets are booked in a spesific bookingclass which never gives any points...in any program ;-)

Irregularities do happen. and it is definatly worth trying. On another airline I was once removed from an award as I voluneered my seat. In the end it wasn't needed but the agent put me back in a revenue seat.

I guess in that case any FF# would work.

In the case I was referring to my flight posted as if it was in Y class, so someone obviously mixed something up… So I think putting in another airline's FF# would increase steps where it could happen.

On a side note I have had a similar experience a few times on different airlines. After volunteering my paid seat and ending up beeing upgraded instead, I've been given points equivalent to the upgraded class. Not bad on a trans continental flight.
