CPH - lounge on arrival?

Hello everybody again,

I'll be on a business award with SK (SVO-CPH) next month and will continue in Y (on AB) from CPH back home - is there any chance I'd be allowed to hop into the Business-lounge in CPH as an arriving passenger?

Cheers & Merry Christmas,

jobi

Unfortunately not.
Lot of FTers pass by CPH, so if you post your date in this thread when getting close somebody might be able to sponsor you if you have a extended lay over. And that would be the Scandinavian lounge too which is way nicer.

Even if the policy doesn't cover it, no harm in trying.

At least three times they have allowed me in on arrival as a Star Gold in business class terminating at CPH -- or not flying the same day from CPH -- but I am not sure if that is policy or just customer-friendly approach despite policy. [As a carry-on-only passenger, I used te he loungto take a shower or to relax before connecting to a flight on a separate itinerary that did not entitle me to lounge access.] The thing to be aware of is that if you have checked luggage, it will be on the belt and perhaps even lifted before you are done with the lounge, so make the visit relatively quick.

If you have (or can get) a Diners Club card, there is a Diners lounge at CPH as well.

There are also two Priority Pass lounges - the Diners lounge being one of them - if you happen to have that card.

Thanks for your answers - I already thought so.
Anyway, it won't hurt to ask once I'll get there

As the OP is arriving on a intra european award ticket (be it in Business Class) and does not hold a Star Alliance gold card IŽd say chances are less than slim. But obviously you can always give it a try...

I have another version of this question. I am EBG and will arrive with SQ from SIN on an award booking tomorrow morning (yes, that will be Christmas day, who said that was easy to find award availability?). Any chances for arrival lounge with SK at CPH?
