I don't recall it being there originally either. I transferred 10 units and was thinking about doing some more before the offer expired, but the introduction of the limit obviously removes that possibility. Unfair. Diners Club should take the apparent popularity of the offer as a hint of their standard conversion rate being a bit too poor.

Hello all, long time reader and first time poster.
Thanks to OP for opening the topic, I would probably have missed the offer otherwise.
I was disappointed to learn about the 10 unit limitation when I placed my first order on Dec 29. Then yesterday I thought it's worth trying and ordered 2*10 and 1*5 units... and when I checked my EB account a moment ago I was pleasantly surprised: 35000 new points

Now that I have switched to Diners Club Finland I only receive (10 Club Rewards per 10 EUR, converted to Eurobonus points at a rate of 2523 => 1000) 4 SAS Eurobonus points per 10 EUR.
How come you give your members not even a third of what you award your Swedish members?
Furthermore, in a comparison to American Express you fare pretty poorly. While they do not allow transfer to Eurobonus, they do to AF/KLM Flying Blue (their miles have roughly the same value as the SAS points). They award their customers 10 Membership Reward points for every 10 EUR spent (for a green card holder, upgraded cards get 1,5x). These can then be converted to Flying Blue miles at a rate 5 => 4. Thus the card holder will receive 8 Flying Blue miles for every 10 EUR. Though not as good as in Sweden it is still much better than the Diners Club offering.
Are you in the process of changing this or are these the conditions offered?
After having sent this question again I received the following answer:
Thank you for your message. Diners Club Finland has its totally own Club Reward program. Diners Club Sweden does not have a Club Rewards program, instead they have set up a very close partnership woth SAS and all the Diners Club cards that they issue in Sweden are SAS Eurobonus co-brand cards.
We on the other hand have chosen to build ourselves a Club Rewards program, that also rewards our non-flying customers. Thank you for your opinion about how we rate against other card issuers reward programs. Currently we are not in the process of making changes to our SAS partnership when it comes to Eurobonus Extra points.
