Please add "Cash + Points tickets". I've voted the bottom option for now.

Gifted Gold card for Diamonds.
(A good benefit, especially as the gifted Gold Card is usually valid for more than a year)

As for on-board-upgrades? Why is that an alternative? I was not aware of this being a published benefit

Gifted gold card gets my vote.
Not sure what onboard upgrades refers to - I mean, I know what the words mean, but I've never seen it offered in person or discussed on here.
EBD upgrades are random and not a published benefit as far as I can see.

EBD upgrades are a published benefit. You are entitled to space available one-cabin-class upgrade every second long haul flight.
Based on the reports it works quite well, although I have been a bit unlucky and never made that 50% quota. More like 25% now after some long time not upgrade starting phase.

No, in the beginning it just didn't work. Sitting in GO I saw the free seats in Plus and J and often enough I upgraded myself with points instead. It got better after summer though. I even stopped buying upgrades for points at check-in for every 2nd flight as often enough I just get the new boarding pass at the gate. Only at about every 10th flight I get the 'you have been upgraded' mail.
