Air New Zealand flight to LAX
Hey all,
I have booked a flight LHR-LAX-LHR in K class with Air New Zealand and I was wondering what was the best way to make use of the miles/points? I have never flown with them before so I was thinking using my Eurobonus number would be the best option? My family is in the Eurobonus family pool as well.
Also what kind of Eurobonus points could I expect and how does the flights ad up towards leveling up to Gold?
Many thanks,
Andy

K class on NZ is a deep discount economy ticket and earns 0% in most airline programs including SAS. Just to clarify is this ticket purchased as an NZ flight number in K Class or is it a codeshare in K class ticketed by another airline?

According to Wheretocredit.com your options are very limited. Virgin Australia does give 25% credit for the flight. That doesn't help much though. http://www.wheretocredit.com/air-new-zealand/k

Thank you for the reply.
I booked direct with Air New Zealand and to be honest the tickets where not that cheap.
Thank you for the links though, the where to credit was especially handy. If I credit the flight with SAS will I still get the flights flown if not the points?

This is drifting off topic now, but:
Emphasis mine. I bought an LX-operated flight with an SK ticket and SK flight number thinking it would count as a 'flight' - it doesn't. That and the crappy LX codeshare experience (no ASR, no OLCI) means I'm a little disappointed, seeing as on (e.g.) AY it's any alliance segments that count.
I'll know the next time, of course.
(I qualify for EBD on segments... and I wish I didn't )
