Always fun to try a new type of plane - even if only as a passenger

The B73x are based out of OSL and ARN so going to/from those hubs will make it more likely to board a -600. A couple of times I have experienced a last minute swap between the -600 and -800 though (I suspect they assign something that reflects the actual load).

You can consider a refundable Plus ticket if you are on an leisure trip around Oslo/Stockholm and fly exclusively to log a particular type of plane. Be aware that getting a refund is not a problem, but a short notice reschedule involves new pricing which can be hideously expensive.

The 736 in ARN are most reliably found on domestic routes...

Yeah, but they have swapped a couple of them with CR9s, e.g. MMX-ARN used to be a safe bet operated with an 736 but recently most of those flights are using CR9s from CityJet?

ARN-AMS is very consistently flown on 737-600.

They used to be very common on OSL-KSU, but recently this has been all -700; at least on my usual departures.

Yes it is always fun in particular for a not so common type.

the -600 is not so easy to catch, as they seem to rotate a lot in the network and SAS changse a lot, same flight on different day use different plane type.

Oh that's new. It was still consistently a 737 when I moved out of Aberdeen three months ago. I guess that the oil related travel between the two cities has reached points where a RJ makes more sense.
