Thanks very much all. I've reserved seat 1A for now as most window seats in the front cabin are taken. I may move down to the mini cabin after boarding if it looks cosy and there are seats available
Does anyone have experience with the Plus seats in the new cabin? Recommendations? I am flying back from PEK on Plus. Hope I get my first courtesy upgrade though

Have a look here: https://www.flysas.com/en/us/travel-...n-Street-View/
The new Plus seat is great and in general the Plus class is a great product on long haul. Have a look at the street view I posted above. I enjoyed it very much and usually book it on my westbound legs as I never sleep on those but just do some work or videos. Meal service is a bit better than in Go and even though I do not think the SK business meal have improved too much the Plus meals have been quite fine.

I recently flew SK908 EWR - OSL in seat 4H, albeit on the A330. Good amount of privacy, window is perfectly situated next to the seat, and you're far enough away from both galleys that noise doesn't reach you (the flight attendants were chatting in both galleys). In the future I might opt for 4A, however, since the flight attendants let Plus passengers deplane at the same time as Business, which meant that being on the "far" side of the plane (4H) involved a fair bit of waiting.

Hmmm... on my last 4 trips the FAs blocked the aisle to the Plus section until all business passengers had deplaned. Again, that's SK... all about inconsistency

Thanks again all. Seat 4A was released and now it is mine
Never noticed that Plus passengers are allowed to deplane at the same time as Business passengers, but I'm thinking that is only an issue on A330s with no mini Business cabin?

Is there still not an official seat map published for A340? People are just assuming that the main J cabin on the A340 has the identical layout as A330 but is that really the case?
I'd like to pick a single window seat adjacent to the windows, not aisle.
Going by the 333 seat map, that would be row 2, 4, 6, 8 but I'd hate to be surprised once I board...

SAS doesn't publish seatmaps online. The ones on SeatGuru gives you an idea of the layout but aren't completely accurate...
Yes it is... row 9-10 on the A340 has the same as layout as 1-2.

However, I understand that 1-2-1 is the layout, but like I said earlier, no one has confirmed that the window adjacent seats on the 340 are indeed row 2, 4, 6, and 8. These are assumptions at this point.
The seatmap from EF does not indicate which row of the single seats are window adjacent vs aisle adjacent @:-)
Hopefully SK1989 is correct about it being identical to 330.
