OK. Thanks fassy. I only cancelled PLUS in Europe so far, which explains my misunderstanding.

For information : In Europe you can also cancel a GO ticket and get the different taxes back.
Which on some of the cheapest tickets is a fair amount of the ticket price.

Yes, this is a good strategy. The problem is that many airlines impose a cancellation fee, which consumer authorities usually oppose, but good luck for anyone fighting back that...
