OT: LH Private Jet DO ex-ARN

I'm not sure if everybody has seen the coming LH 5x miles deal when using Lufthansa Private Jet service. From May 1st until June 5th they offer 50.000 M&M miles per one-way flight or 100.000 for return flights.

One return flight with a Cessna Citation CJ3 is from €11.730 for six people - all earn 100k each. Six flights would be €11.730 and give you HON Circle status for almost 3 years and afterwards 2 years SEN status meaning 4 years of not worrying about SEN requalification.

That Black card is somewhat of a personal dream!
On top of being HON for almost three years you also get:

- 6 additional eVouchers (giving you upgrades).

- 630.000 award miles worth 6 longhaul business class round trip tickets with HON availability guarantee or approx. 4 companion award longhaul business class award tickets. when you value one longhaul C ticket (excluding taxes) with approx. 2000€ then you gain a value of around 8000€.

- Highest op-up-priority (how many regular HONs do travel longhaul economy)

It's not a bad deal and you get to fly Private Jets 12 times!
What i'm thinking of if there are any EB members wanting to do a combined DO and LH Private Jet run ex-BMA or ex-ARN?

Hmm, one flight could be fun, I'm in (depending on date)

Where are we going?

We can go anytime in May!

Seems like ARN-CPH is about maximum range for "00 Zone" with this price.

We could of course fly to FRA with a cheapo economy and spend a few hours in the FCT before and after our Private Jet run? Maybe a flight from Frankfurt to some remote Alp village for dinner?

Order 6x roundtrips ARN-BMA, VST-ORB or MMX-CPH and you are HON in just a day!

Unfortunately I'm very rarely flying LH/LX/OS so cannot take an advantage of HON really, otherwise I would go for it!

Oh I wish I could spend 11k without remorse, though no way. But 1 round trip is really tempting but big maybe. FRA to Alps should be much more fascinating experience than just in Scandinavia.

As I scrolled through that original post, there was a link to this flight as well. Tends be something exceptional as well:

I talked to A340GOT earlier today and we agreed on trying to set up a 6 person DO from FRA.

Saturday
- Flying to FRA from ARN/GOT/CPH/OSL or wherever you are
- Meeting at FCT for a few hours with great food + drinks
- Black Mercedes to Private Jet
- Flight to nice village in Alps
- Dinner + drinks

Sunday
- Morning flight back to FRA in Private Jet
- Post-flight drinks at FCL
- Fly back to original destination.

Price around €2000 including LH SEN status for 2+ years and 100.000 miles on the account ^

Would one return flight give you SEN-status? If so, count me in for that. Otherwise I have to think, but I am really really tempted!

Yes - one return flight gives you 100.000 M&M miles, enough for SEN.
Miles & More information

wow, that's pretty good if all you want is to get/keep status (consider the amount of time NOT having to MR ). The 100k miles is all gravy!

Ok, I want to stand firt in line for the 100k run! Will have to think a bit about the 600k... (and discuss with my bosses, if they can pay me instead of the airlines for upcoming trips (where I use my miles and get payed from the company) it is a deal in the 600k as well!)

I'd be happy to join in the ex FRA run if there is still room for one more.

Is the HON-run off the table? I've been doing some serious thinking about that today, and I have yet to come up with a killing argument against doing it

Ditto. I'd be up for that as well.

P.S.: Just remember to pick Alps villages "beyond Germany’s borders"!!
