Air Baltic introduces Check-In fee

Starting from the 16th of November you have to pay a 5 Euro fee for checking-in at the airport. Only BalticMiles Members are excluded from this fee. According to AirBaltic they want to encourage people to join the new ft programme.
In my opinion this is the complete wrong way. It was already a big mistake to leave EuroBonus (I will stop using are BT since I can't make use of any benefits anymore)....

Wrong way to do it..offer a discount for the members instead...lucky I go back with BT 10 Nov...I would not accept another fee for check-in...Ryanair-style
